Using Emulex HBAnyware Utility to reset HBA

If you are administering a physical server with a host adapter from Emulex vendor, you can use the HBAnyware utility to get the status or reset it from CLI.

List all available host adapter.

# /usr/sbin/hbanyware/hbacmd listhbas

Display the host adaptor port status.

# /usr/sbin/hbanyware/hbacmd portstat 10:00:00:00:c9:79:23:3a

Display all attributes from a host adaptor.

# /usr/sbin/hbanyware/hbacmd HBAAttrib 10:00:00:00:c9:79:23:3a

Display the WWPN from a host adaptor.

#/usr/sbin/hbanyware/hbacmd list

Reset a host adaptor port.

# /usr/sbin/hbanyware/hbacmd Reset 10:00:00:00:c9:79:23:3a
